My Experience

Matchday Operations: YUFC

Ball kids and the soccer filed
Event Badge

York United FC brought me onto the pitch and into the heart of live match operations. The images of the venue staff pass, and the rows of ball kids walking onto the field perfectly capture what my role looked like day to day. I led groups of ball kids and mascots through their pre-match routines, communicated with parents, and worked with officials and match coordinators to keep everything running smoothly.

Player Performance Analysis: HUDL

Hudl gave me a deep look into the analytical side of sport. I spent most of my time inside detailed dashboards like the one in the screenshot, reviewing game footage, verifying stats, and producing more than a hundred match analysis reports with 99% accuracy. The visuals of the shot charts, tendencies, and event timelines reflect the kind of data I worked with every day.

Breaking down plays, resolving discrepancies, and making sure coaches received clean, reliable insights. That environment sharpened my ability to spot patterns quickly, clean messy data, and translate fast-moving games into structured performance reports that teams could actually use.

From setting up the venue to handling staff check-ins, team logistics, and fan questions during stressful moments, matchdays always required quick thinking and clear communication. Managing reports, supporting league protocol, and helping solve real-time issues all contributed to smoother workflows and a better experience for supporters and teams alike.
